Vata-Balancing Recipes (Vata needs warm, moist, grounding, and nourishing foods.)
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp ghee or olive oil
- 2 sweet potatoes, diced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Heat ghee and sauté cumin, ginger, then add vegetables.
- Add broth, simmer until soft.
- Blend until creamy. Top with a swirl of coconut milk.
