Spiced Rice with Ghee & Steamed Veggies

Vata Balancing Recipe – (Vata needs warm, moist, grounding, and nourishing foods)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • Steamed cauliflower, potato and carrots

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice with turmeric and fennel.
  2. Add steamed veggies and ghee before serving.
